Add a New Purhcase Requsition

    Overview

    Manage your purchase requisition process in Zumzum Financials and gain better control and visibility into you purchasing activity.   Use the standard Salesforce automation tools to optimise your procurement and budget approval processes.

    Create A New Purchase Requisition From The Purchasing Tab

    1. Go to the Purchasing Tab
    2. Select the Purchase Requisition option
    3. In the Purchase Requisition Name enter the name that can identify the Purchase Requisition that is being created.
    4. The Requester field will be automatically filled out with the name of the user creating the record.
    5. Select the Company if different from your default company
    6. Select the Currency if different from your default currency
    7. Assign the desired values in the Required Date, Status, Budget Date fields.
    8. Select the Budget Status field.
      • Please notice that before being able to convert the Purchase Requisition into a Purchase Order, the status value has to be marked as Approved.
    9. Before the Purchase Requisition can be saved, enter the line items as follows:
    10. Firstly enter the Product by using the lookup button.
    11. Enter the Nominal Code by using the lookup button.
    12. Enter the unit Price. Click outside of the field in order to update the following fields: Tax, Net
    13. Select the correct T/C (Tax Rate) with the drop-down menu.
    14. Click on the Add button.
    15. Repeat Steps 8 to Steps 11 for every item on the Purchase Requisition.
    16. Select Save

    Create A New Purchase Requisition From The Purchase Requisition Tab

    1. Go to the Purchase Requisition Tab
    2. Select New on the Purchase Requisition tab
    3. In the Purchase Requisition Name enter the name that can identify the Purchase Requisition that is being created.
    4. The Requester field will be automatically filled out with the name of the user creating the record.
    5. Select the Company if different from your default company
    6. Select the Currency if different from your default currency
    7. Assign the desired values in the Required Date, Status, Budget Date fields.
    8. Select the Budget Status field.

    17. Select Save
