Zumzum Financials Knowledge Base

    Overview

    The Zumzum Finance Dashboard comes with many default components. Each component is linked to a specific report ranging from Profit and Loss, expenses to purchasing tax and Balance Sheet reports.

    Zumzum Financials Reports linked to the dashboard are stored in the Zumzum Financials report folder by default.
    Please share this folder with your users who require view access to any of these reports.

    It is a recommended approach to clone the dashboard and customise to your own requirements. This will make it easier for you to manage and also deploy from your sandbox to your live environment.

    Access The Zumzum Finance Dashboard

    1. Go to the App Launcher (in Lightning) or the All Tabs link in Salesforce classic.
    2. Find the Dashboards tab.
    3. Click on All Folders
    4. Click on the Zumzum Financials dashboard folder.
    5. Click on the Zumzum Finance dashboard

    You may need to refresh this dashboard to show you current data.

    Customise Your Own Zumzum Finance Dashboard

    To clone this dashboard and reports set, follow the Salesforce help article for creating and editing dashboards.

    As a typical approach, you would follow these steps:

    1. Create a dashboard folder to store your new/cloned dashboard, eg. My Company Dashboards
    2. Create a report folder to store your new/cloned reports, e.g. My Company Dashboard Reports
    3. Clone each report you intend to use in your dashboard and store in your reports folder (My Company Dashboard Reports)
    4. Clone the dashboard and store in your dashboards folder (My Company Dashboards)

    Once you are satisfied with your new finance dashboard, share the reports and dashboards folder with your users and please ensure the users have the correct object and field permissions to the underlying data to view and run the reports.

    Below is a summary of the charts and reports included in the default Zumzum Finance Dashboard Folder.

    Balance Sheet Nominal Category COMING SOON. Calculation of Balance Sheet based on Assets, Liabilities, Capital & Reserves Nominal Account Category Types.
    Bank Account Balance By Period Cumulative Balance Balance of Bank Accounts grouped by Transaction date. Set the bank account Nominal Code as “Bank Account” for it to appear on this report. Clone & customise this report to change the column grouping of transaction date, e.g. week, month, quarter, or year.
    Bank Balances Corporate Currency Bank Balances Calculation of Balance Sheet based on Assets, Liabilities, Capital & Reserves Nominal Account Category Types.
    Customer Account Balances Invoices, Credits, Receipts and Refunds COMING SOON. Customer Account Balances including Sales Invoices, Sales Credits, Bank Receipts and Bank Payments (Customer Refunds).
    Expenses by Nominal Account Category Drill down to ledger entries COMING SOON. Expense breakdown by Nominal Account Category Name and Nominal Account Sub Category.
    Expenses by Nominal Sub Category Drill down to ledger entries COMING SOON. Using the same report as Expenses by Nominal Account Category. Expense breakdown by Nominal Account Category Name and Nominal Account Sub Category.
    Profit and Loss By Period Income less Expenses COMING SOON. Period view of Net Profit based on Sales less Purchases, Direct Expenses & Overheads. Clone and customise the Transaction Date column grouping to your preference, e.g. weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly, etc.
    Purchase Tax Control Account Purchase Tax
    Sales Tax Control Account Sales Tax
    Supplier Account Balances Invoices, Credits, Payments & Refunds Supplier Account Balances including Purchase Invoices, Purchase Credits, Bank Payments and Bank Receipts (Supplier Refunds).
    Top Customers By Net Invoice Amount Sales Invoices Less Sales Credits COMING SOON.

    Total Revenue All Revenue Nominal Accounts COMING SOON. Using the Total Revenue from the Profit and Loss Report.
