Zumzum Financials Knowledge Base

    Overview

Zumzum Financials provides a streamlined capability to distribute your financial documents directly from Salesforce. Using the Send As Email feature, users can quickly email Sales Invoices and Sales Credits to customers. This feature supports advanced routing and compliance controls, including organization-wide default senders and silent BCC copying.

    Key Configuration Features

Before utilizing the Send As Email functionality, administrators can configure several powerful options on the Document Template or Company record to standardize outbound communications.

    Current Assets Stock (Balance Sheet)
Email Template ID Defines the standard Salesforce Classic Email Template used for the outbound email body. This can be set on the Document Template to override the default Sales Invoice Settings Custom Metadata Type of Company Setup.
Default Sender Email Address Allows administrators to route emails through a verified Org-Wide Email Address (e.g., billing@company.com) rather than the individual user’s email address. Configured on the Document Template.
BCC Email Address Provides a mechanism to silently blind carbon copy (BCC) a specified email address (e.g., an audit or archive mailbox) on all outbound Sales Invoices and Credits generated from the template. This feature does now support Compliance BCC in Salesforce.

    8. An activity record will be created on the record to signify the outbound email was sent.

    System Administrator Considerations

    • Deliverability: Ensure that any email address specified in the Default Sender Email Address is properly verified in Salesforce Org-Wide Email Addresses to prevent bounced emails.
